Introducing....

Our current caboose!

Born 07-30-07 at 1:18pm.
Weighing in at 9 lbs. 14.2 oz.
21 inches long.
We were totally fooled by this little boy...all of us were sure it was a girl...even though the ultrasound never showed anything definite.
We've named him Isaac...which means "he laughed"...and we feel like he did a good job pulling a practical joke on us.
We think it's one of the best jokes we've ever had played on us.
Total labor time: 7 hours
I am feeling very good...and home from the hospital.
I'll be taking it easy for a few days, but I'd love to hear from you.

You just have to love those cheeks.

So happy for you guys. Even though it is for the 24th(?) time, I still have that 7 Brides for 7 Brothers "I'm an Uncle" moment each time. Ok, so I don't fall to the ground but you know what I mean! Holy 10 lb baby batman! Your "caboose" is more like a freightliner!

Kris,
He's beautiful and we adore him! You did good girl! I can see that you used that same trusty recipe that worked so well for the previous ones. He's one lucky boy.
My boys were exstatic that they have another boy cousin.

Kristine,
This is Dave Robinson, your 1988 NAU Chemistry Competition and 1989-90 EAC friend. Ryan Brower alerted me that you're blogging, still alive and, from the looks of things, VERY well. Congratulations on your exciting addition! Isaac is beautiful. What a neat blessing.
Drop me a line at singrdave@yahoo.com and we can talk more.

What a beautiful, healthy boy! I love when their bottom lip hangs over their chin like that! Congratulations on the surprise boy - I'm starting to really hope we get a boy next...

I love the name Issac. Hopefully the meaning of the name will prove true to his personality.

Nice work!
