We took family pictures on Friday...
Just for the record, it's a lot of work.
9 people, smiling at the same time and looking in the same direction...almost impossible to capture in picture form.
Even just the kids alone was hard...
But the most difficult of all was Samuel...2 years old, and non-stop for the entire hour and a half.
35+ pictures later, I still don't have one of his smile that I can enlarge for our wall.
That last one was the best of all...but with a chain link fence in the background, it just isn't quite enlargement material.
I'll be working on my photoshop skills.
I think that may be the only way to get a good family picture in the future!

Your family is so cute! I love the matching shirts, and especially that they're not denim. You guys are fabulous!
We did the same thing this past weekend. Ug! I did find one that worked, but I had to photoshop out something in the background too. Oh, the joys of family pictures. I'll be looking forward to getting yours with your Christmas letter, and we'll send ours after Scott writes our Christmas letter. He hates that task, but I make him do it anyway. He needs to contribute to Christmas preparations somehow. :)
The second to last one looked like my younger brother. We took out family pictures last Saturday. My brothers are little little so we did okay.
I always enjoy seeing your family and the wonderful spirits that they are. Your family picture is wonderful. I treasure your friendship and I am grateful to have you in my life.
Wow-your kids are so cute. It is SO hard to get everyone dressed, brushed and smiling. Congrats! (Bam Bam looks great)
Oh my hair, those pics are so dang cute!! It makes me want to squeeze all those cute little cheeks and give you a big hug! I miss you so much. Sorry I'm off the radar for a bit, but know I love ya and think about you every day. Have a happy day!
xoxo, hc
Good picks, our big problem is not the "no smile" ours is I think worse, "fake smile". We tell them to smile and they put this grin on that would scare Batman worse than the Joker!
BTW, I like your shorter hair and I think I prefer the twin with the dusting on top instead of completely shaved...
Of course I ment "pics" not "picks" but hey, if you chose them in the pre-existence, good job there too.
I love them all! The kids and the pics!!! Can't wait to see what you frame. :)
