Double Whammy

There are just over 12 years that separate my oldest boy from my youngest boy.
It made this last Sunday quite eventful in our home.
Stephen was ordained a deacon ( in our church, that's a priesthood office for boys....ahem, I mean young men, who are between the ages of 12 and 14).
As the eldest of our boys, he's the first of our children to reach this milestone.
Grandma and Grandpa John had made the suggestion that we bless little Isaac on the same day if at all possible...making it a more eventful day all the way around.
Really, as Sundays go, it was very low key, and went off without a hitch.
Nice to know that can happen every once in a while.

The only drama of the day was when we attempted to get a family picture...and we knew to try it BEFORE the 3 hours of church, but still, it didn't turn out quite the way we would have liked. This is the best of the 3 we got...and not that bad overall!
