It's Monday morning...and usually I attack the weekend clutter and dishes with a vengeance and "tame the beast" before the week gets totally out of control.
Today, I just flat out don't want to.
I mean I do, but I don't know where to start.
That's a frustrating feeling...and I know it won't get any better until do something about it.
Any motivating thoughts?
Do you feel this way too sometimes?

Usually I am in your shoes. Every single Monday I'm utterly overwhelmed. Yesterday was the worst, though, and I had a miserable day because of how messy everything was. I couldn't wait until Monday to get started on it finally! The baby slept from 8am to past noon, too, and right now she's just happily on the floor. I gave Mack and Pinkleberry some soap and water and had them wash walls while I have picked up, vacuumed, washed and mopped. I have about three rooms very nicely done. Enough that I'm starting to feel some peace and calm instead of chaos and stress. And I'm pooped, too.
I always feel this way! Mostly I think because it is never ending! It seems like I can't stayed caught up and it really gets me frustrated! I tell you what...I will start if you do!
Sometimes I can get myself moving again by focusing on something small that I know I can do fairly quickly. Once I'm moving it's (somewhat) easier to keep going. Good luck!
I try to take the weekends off, but the mess on Monday is too overwhelming if I do it. I usually just go around the house, picking up the rooms, not even worrying about dusting and vacuuming. I do that on Tuesday.
Usually EVERY morning I wake up and want to cry. How is it that we can spend the whole day cleaning and wake up in the morning to a house that looks like a bomb went off? A lot of days I feel like I run around behind everybody and clean up after them. After a few family councils, things are a little better. Everyone helps out a little more. And also, I have to realize that I have children, and with them comes MESSES! So between getting everyone to pitch in a little more and relaxing my attitude a little, things are more tolerable.
I know how you feel. It's crazy in this house!!
