Creative Outlets

I've been making cards,

altering tins and jars,

and even tried my hand at altering a notebook for a friend of Emily's.

hey-your screen is so pink-I couldn't find the place to click to leave a comment-I just clicked around at the bottom of your post til it brought me here. Anyway, CUTE STUFF~you're so creative. To make your pictures not so blurry, you need to make sure your macro is turned on. It's the button with the little flower on it. That allows you to take pictures close up, and it shows details. I didn't figure this out-thank my mother in law, the photographer. She's taught me a lot about my digital camera.

Kris
great job!
I love the gold - especially the flourish on the first card. How do you do that?

Very cute stuff that you make!! And I really love that beautiful ribbon you used to tie the big bow with.

And, we are big Dave Ramsey fans around here too! We have had the book, actually 2 of them but given them both away!!

We still have his first book that is super great and the TMMO on cd.

LOVE these! I am dabbling in cards and such. It's so much fun and not too overwhelming.

Kori--I used gold embossing powder to get that bright gold flourish. It's pretty easy: stamp with Versamark, pour embossing powder on the wet ink, tap excess powder off (it will stick to the stamped image), and heat with a heat tool. I'll show you next time you are in NM. (Or contact a SU demo near you and tell her you want to learn this technique...heat embossing!)

Gabs-Those tins had Hershey Kisses and Reeses Pieces in them...just 4 oz. of them...so enough for one person, but not a whole family.
