If...

If you were given $5,000 to spend in one store in the world, where would you do your shopping?

First, IKEA
Second, Deseret Book

And I would have no problem spending that amount in either place!

One? Hmmm....Is Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma considered 1 store if they're across from each other at the mall?

Oh geez... I could do some major damage in a bead store! :)

Definitely not Gay-mart, I mean Wal-mart (thanks thoroughly mormon millie for coining this phrase). Hmmmm, I think I would pick pottery barn too.

J Crew. I get their catalogs but can't afford anything in them. That's what I get for making my husband quit his job and go back to school! Oh, well. A girl can dream.

LOL Amanda...

I'd pick WinCo or any other bulk warehouse-like grocery store, so I could stock up on stuff. Or a fabric store. :)

My secret geek answer is BigLots but I'm going to have to publicly agree with Kristine and go with Ikea as my more socially acceptable wallet buster of choice.

Well, I'd probably spend it at Michael's, but then I'd need another $5000 to spend at a furniture store for my new storage needs.

A bookstore. (Probably Borders, in the history section.)

I'm with salgal (unless the mall condidered "a store")

The knee jerk reaction is to say Fry's Electronics or BestBuy - and I could easily spend the $5000 in one afternoon getting dream items. I laughed hard at salgal's entry! However, if I really did get $5000 that had to be spent, I would spend it on a real full 1 year supply of food for a growing family of five.
